Modern Garden

This garden began as a simple lawn with little definition. The brief was to create a space that felt inviting, practical, and full of character- somewhere to relax, entertain, and enjoy year-round planting.

Capability Brown Celebration Garden

In 2015–2016, Paul Butler was invited to develop a concept for an RHS Tatton Park show garden celebrating the legacy of Lancelot “Capability” Brown. New House Garden

This project shows how even the most basic new build garden can be transformed into a welcoming, practical, and stylish outdoor space. When our client purchased their first home, the garden was simply bare ground with no planting, structure, or usable features. Like many new build properties, the outside space felt overlooked and uninspiring.

Foundation Garden

Foundation Garden

This garden transformation began with an unusual challenge – the site was originally laid with foundations for a house that was never allowed to be built. Instead of leaving the plot unused, we reimagined it as a vibrant and characterful garden, making use of the existing structure to create something truly unique.

Bolesworth Arena Show Gardens

Inspired by the historic architecture of Bolesworth Castle, our design took direct cues from the castle’s distinct twin turrets, one round, the other hexagonal. We translated these contrasting forms into two sculptural garden spaces that celebrated both structure and spirit.
